All Masses will be celebrated by Bishop Gregory L. Parkes at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Chrism Mass - Tuesday, March 31 at 11:00 AM

The Chrism Mass is a special liturgy celebrated during Holy Week in which Bishop Parkes blesses the sacred oils used throughout the year for sacraments. It also includes the renewal of priestly promises, making it a powerful sign of unity within the Church. This Mass highlights the role of the priesthood and the sacramental life of the faithful.

Mass of the Lord's Supper (Holy Thursday) - Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 PM

The Mass of the Lord’s Supper commemorates the Last Supper, when Jesus instituted the Eucharist and the priesthood. It often includes the washing of the feet, recalling Christ’s call to serve others with humility and love. The liturgy concludes in quiet reverence as we enter into the solemnity of the Passion.

Passion of the Lord (Good Friday) - Friday, April 3 at 3:00 PM

The Passion of the Lord is a solemn liturgy that commemorates Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross. The Gospel of the Passion is proclaimed, and the faithful venerate the cross in gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice. This day invites us into deep reflection on God’s love poured out for the world.

Easter Vigil - Saturday, April 4 at 8:00 PM

The Easter Vigil is the most sacred and joyful liturgy of the Church, celebrated after nightfall on Holy Saturday. Beginning in darkness, it moves into the light of the Resurrection, with Scripture, sacramental initiation, and the proclamation of “Alleluia.” It is the high point of the liturgical year, celebrating Christ’s victory over sin and death.

Easter Sunday - Sunday, April 5 at 11:00 AM

Easter Sunday celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the foundation of our faith and the source of our hope. It is a day of joy and new life, proclaiming that death has been conquered and salvation is offered to all. We rejoice as an “Alleluia people,” celebrating the promise of eternal life.
