Help Feed Tampa Bay This Summer!

As Spirit FM celebrates 40 years of sharing hope across Tampa Bay, we're inviting our listening family to make a real difference through Christmas in July!

Summer is one of the most challenging times for local food pantries. Donations often decline while the need remains high, leaving many families struggling to put food on the table.

Throughout July, Spirit FM will be collecting non-perishable food donations to support local food pantries across our community. Every can, every bag, and every donation helps provide hope and nourishment to neighbors who need it most. Suggested donation items include a variety of shelf-stable foods and beverages. For proteins, items such as canned tuna, canned chicken, peanut butter, and canned or dried beans are greatly appreciated. Grains and pantry staples like pasta, rice, macaroni and cheese, instant mashed potatoes, oatmeal, cold cereal, granola bars, and crackers are also helpful. Canned goods such as vegetables, fruit, soups and stews, chili, pasta sauce, and applesauce are always in high demand. For beverages and dairy alternatives, consider donating shelf-stable milk, powdered milk, shelf-stable chocolate milk, juice boxes, shelf-stable juice, bottled juice, coffee, tea, or hot cocoa mix. Please donate only unopened, non-perishable items that are within their expiration date!

Celebrate the season in the middle of summer at Spirit FM's Christmas in July Open House on Saturday, July 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring the whole family for a festive morning at the station! Guests can enjoy tours of the Spirit FM studios, and festive Christmas activities. Whether you're a longtime listener or visiting for the first time, stop by, celebrate Spirit FM's 40th anniversary, and help us spread joy while supporting local families across Tampa Bay!
